About Nikki

     As a web and interactive media designer, my goals are to create simple and creative designs that are user friendly. I believe every project has a central idea and the user needs to be able to understand that idea right off the bat. Effective user design can be the difference between a positive web experience and a negative experience. The online world is growing and advancing everyday and I would like to continue to push the envelope of creative design across the web.

     My goals as a creative individual are to enter the sports industry and advance the sports world online. There is a lot of untapped potential between the two fields and it is my desire to enhance the online experience of the individuals involved in sports, from the everyday fan to the coaches and athletes.

     I was born in Redlands, CA and graduated from Redlands High School. I enrolled at the Art Institute of California, Inland Empire and graduated in September 2010 with a Bachelor Degree of Science majoring in Web Design & Interactive Media.

     At the Art Institute I won several awards at the 2010 AAF ADDY Awards. My work on the Let's Dine Out website won a Silver Award and I won a Gold Award for the Coffee Depot iPhone Application. I also took home the 2010 Student Best of Show ADDY Award for the Coffee Depot iPhone Application.

     When I'm not designing or coaching I like to hangout with friends and be outdoors.
